HyperX RETAKE Season 12 moves to September; HyperX TAKEOFF SUMMER added to the calendar
Season 12, originally scheduled for July 23-26, moves to September 17-20 after a clash with higher-prize international competitions. The LAN finals, format and partner activations are unchanged - and a new amateur tournament, HyperX TAKEOFF SUMMER, joins the calendar ahead of Season 12.

Lisbon, Portugal - July 14, 2026. HyperX RETAKE Season 12, originally scheduled for July 23-26th in Lisbon, will now run from September 17-20th.
The change follows the recent scheduling of international competitions carrying higher prize pools, which overlap directly with the original HyperX RETAKE window. Several of the teams committed to Season 12 reached out with feedback around the clash and the difficulty of competing in both.
RETAKE has always been built around the teams. When a calendar clash puts prize money of this scale on the table, the circuit moves rather than forcing teams into a choice.
The LAN finals, the competitive format and all partner activations remain unchanged.
HyperX TAKEOFF SUMMER
RETAKE is also launching HyperX TAKEOFF SUMMER, a new national tournament for amateur teams, running ahead of Season 12. The competition is open to Portuguese amateur rosters and is designed as a first step for teams looking to build competitive experience ahead of a busy end to the year, with the FNAC and DARTY retail activations arriving in October.
Registration details for both competitions will be announced later this week.
