`` Lisbon, Portugal - June 16, 2026. Hyped and PEW PEW are proud to present the new HyperX RETAKE 2026 circuit, a new chapter for the historic Counter-Strike tournament that has elevated Iberian - and even international - talent to the highest stages of the world. The new circuit introduces a series of events designed for every level of competition, from amateurs to professionals. With a fresh format, it's up to you to make new history.
The HyperX RETAKE circuit runs from June to November 2026 and is structured around three tiers: HyperX RETAKE, HyperX TAKEOFF by FNAC & DARTY and HyperX RETAKE DOUBLE TAP.
Across the season the circuit puts up to €30,000+ on the line, with two VRS LAN tournaments, three amateur LAN finals (including one on the main stage of Lisboa Games Week), and official broadcasts in PT-PT on RTP Arena's Twitch channels.

Tiers
For 2026, RETAKE introduces a new tier system representing the broader levels of competition the new format promotes:
- RETAKE - The registration-only main event of the circuit, designed for professionals. Highest stakes, highest skill ceiling, highest prizes. Following the previous season, RETAKE continues to operate under Valve Regional Standings (VRS) guidelines.
- TAKEOFF - Powered by FNAC and DARTY, this is the circuit for all up-and-comers, from semi-professionals to amateurs. Triumph in the online qualifiers, conquer one of the two regional LAN finals, and earn a chance to make an impression on the Lisboa Games Week main stage.
- DOUBLE TAP - An appetizer for the season in Wingman-sized bites. Enter the server with a friend and show the world what you got.
Prize pool
The prize pool is distributed across the three tiers as follows:

Broadcast
RTP Arena will broadcast all matches in Portuguese (PT-PT) on Twitch, alongside coverage from the official regional broadcast partners. The event is open for community streaming in accordance with the broadcasting rules.
